Charlie Jackson

Head coach 2019-2020

  Team remembers and honors the late Charlie Jackson, who led the Oregon Ducks to a 2019 PNCLL Championship. Born and raised in San Diego, Charlie won the 1995 California State Championships at Henry High School. He attended Chico State University with a major in Sociology. Charlie played for USA west post college and competed in China, Japan and Australia. He  coached at Chico State, San Diego State and the University of Oregon.  He has achieved the highest national rankings at both of his previous programs. Charlie is the 2015 SLC Coach of the Year and WCLL Coach of the year 2020.  Charlie passed away in February 2020.

Peter Harris

Head Coach

  Peter Harris is from Lafayette, CA and brings his experience as a head coach and program director to the Ducks as they pursue their fourth straight PNCLL Championship.  Coach Harris, a former player and co-coach of Charlie Jackson, will be continuing the project that Charlie started in 2019.

  A major focus is the adjustment and training under new Covid-19 Protocols and safety measures.

  Both Coach Boyer and Coach Lovendahl return as Oregon Alumni to assist the program.  Coach Dorf attends University of Oregon as a Graduate Student.  Coach Scott returns to Oregon after a brief hiatus and service in the Navy, and will be returning to the playing field in 2022.  Coach Jordan is an ongoing Face-off specialist coach.

  Spring Coaching Positions will be announced in November 2020.

Tatum Reece

Team Manager

Tatum Reece was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and was team manager on the lacrosse team at Kent Denver High School her senior year. She Joined the team in 2019 for her sophomore year and looks forward to another great season. Tatum is an International Studies Major with a Spanish Minor.

Jack Thoren


Jack Thoren is a senior midfielder from Lafayette, California. He is Majoring in Accounting with a minor in Economics. He grew up in the Bay Area playing both football and lacrosse for 4 years in high school. Jack plans to pursue a Masters in Accounting at the University of Oregon after graduation in June 2020 and then return to the Bay Area for work after school.

 Jack has served as a Team Captain and as President of the board and continues to advise the program officers.


Sam Criscola


Sam Criscola is a junior defender from Sherwood, Oregon. He played at Sherwood HS and received Honorable Mention All- Conference LSM and First team All-Conference and All-State defense accolades. Sam is an Advertising major and plans on getting into sports after school. Sam was selected for Second Team All-PNCLL in 2019.


Will Pyne


Will Pyne grew up in Maryland where he was a three-year varsity starter and one-year captain for DeMatha Catholic High school. He made the move out to the west coast and is entering his junior year as a finance major with an economics minor. Will is a 2-year starter for the Oregon men’s lacrosse team where he earned first team All-PNCLL in 2019. 

Ryan Horiuchi

Vice President

Ryan Horiuchi is from Portland, Oregon and was a 3 year varsity starter at Midfield and Face-off Specialist at Central Catholic High School while also playing football and basketball. He is a junior in the Clark Honors College and a Sports Business major with a Spanish minor here at UO. Ryan will pursue a career in the sports industry upon graduation in 2021.

Jake Giesleman

Alumni Liaison

Jake Gieselman, also known as “cheese” to his teammates, is a Junior studying Economics with minors in Business, Sports Business and English. He is originally from New Jersey and played at Oratory Prep in Summit, NJ before moving to the Bay Area his Senior Year. Jake played at Archbishop Mitty in San Jose, CA. He was awarded Union County All-Conference player his junior year and 1st team All-WCAL Conference player his senior year.
